About the Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join a well-established Personal and Business Dispute Resolution team within a Top 200 UK law firm. This is a dynamic and forward-thinking legal practice with deep regional roots and a modern outlook.
You will be a confident, proactive, and structured professional with solid experience in a broad range of litigation matters. This is a varied and engaging role, offering the chance to handle quality work across civil and commercial litigation, and to contribute to the ongoing development and success of the department.
Key Responsibilities
You will manage a diverse litigation caseload, including:
- Commercial and residential landlord and tenant disputes
- Consumer law issues
- Boundary and property disputes
- Contentious probate matters
- Advising clients, handling negotiations, and preparing legal documentation
- Undertaking advocacy (where appropriate)
Additionally, you will:
- Generate new work and manage relationships with existing clients
- Meet agreed fee income targets
- Maintain accurate daily time records
- Manage billing and financial control effectively
- Contribute to marketing and business development efforts
- Stay informed on legal developments within your practice area
- Comply with quality and risk procedures
