About the Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Clinical Negligence Solicitor (3–5 years PQE) to join a highly regarded and well-established legal team. Recognised in the Legal 500 for expertise in this field, the team is known for handling complex, high-value Multi-Track claimant cases involving:
- Serious birth injuries
- Brain and spinal injuries
- Delayed cancer diagnoses
- Surgical and hospital negligence claims
You will work closely with a highly experienced Partner while developing and managing your own caseload. This is a claimant-side role, ideal for someone who is confident, proactive, structured, and driven to deliver results with empathy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality legal services to existing and new clients
- Manage a varied caseload of clinical negligence matters from start to finish
- Work confidently with Conditional Fee Agreements (CFAs), BTE and ATE insurance
- Navigate the Pre-Action Protocol and Civil Procedure Rules
- Liaise with experts and counsel, manage medical records, and oversee disclosure
- Engage in ADR and remain updated on fixed costs reform and relevant case law
- Support the department’s marketing and business development initiatives
- Meet agreed fee targets and performance objectives
- Maintain strict adherence to quality and risk procedures
- Monitor financial performance, billing, and cash flow
