About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of an award-winning firm of solicitors based in Sheffield. This well-established and respected practice is seeking a proactive and organised Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of its busy legal office. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a professional environment, enjoys varied tasks, and has excellent IT and communication skills. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining efficient office systems and delivering excellent client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to legal and professional teams across departments
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, ensuring professional responses
- Maintain diaries, book appointments, and coordinate meetings
- Prepare, format, and distribute documents, letters, and reports accurately
- Maintain case management systems and electronic filing structures
- Ensure accurate data entry and management of client records
- Organise incoming and outgoing mail, including DX (Document Exchange) and courier services
- Assist with GDPR compliance and uphold confidentiality protocols
- Communicate with clients in person, via phone, and email in a professional manner
- Support client onboarding and case file preparation
- Undertake occasional errands, including off-site deliveries (driving licence required)
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative or office support role
- Excellent IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Ability to manage workload independently and work well in a team
- Full, clean UK driving licence (access to a vehicle is desirable)
