A leading national law firm with a strong local presence is seeking an experienced Legal Director or Partner to join their Private Client Advisory team in Newcastle. This is a senior leadership opportunity to work closely with high-net-worth individuals and families, delivering expert legal and tax advice on estate and succession planning.

Key Responsibilities: Advise on complex wills, lifetime trusts, deeds of variation, LPAs, estate administration, and IHT planning.

Lead business development efforts across the North East and maintain strong client/referrer relationships.

Collaborate cross-functionally with legal teams and external partners to deliver a holistic service.

Mentor and manage junior colleagues, contributing to a positive team culture.

Play a strategic role in expanding the private client footprint in the region.

About You: STEP-qualified with strong technical knowledge in private client matters.

A proven track record of leadership within a legal practice.

Commercially minded with experience of developing business and nurturing relationships in the North East market.

Confident in managing financial performance and ensuring service excellence.
