The role offers clear career progression in a supportive environment where you will enjoy intellectually stimulating work, high-calibre colleagues, and a culture that values collaboration and innovation.

About the Team
Our client’s Commercial Disputes group is recognised as one of the top disputes and investigations practices in the markets they serve. With an innovative and strategic approach to resolving business disputes, they act for blue-chip companies, public sector organisations, and high-net-worth individuals across a broad range of sectors, including retail, transport, technology, food and drink, health, industrial, energy, utilities, and financial services.

The team works on a wide variety of matters, from court and arbitration proceedings to negotiation, mediation, and adjudication, often collaborating closely with non-contentious colleagues to ensure advice is grounded in a deep understanding of the transactions at the heart of each case.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead on complex commercial disputes at a senior level, delivering strategic, risk-based solutions.
  • Foster and grow client relationships, identifying new opportunities for collaboration.
  • Work with colleagues across multiple practice areas and industry groups.
  • Embrace innovative tools, including AI, to enhance service delivery.
  • Mentor, coach, and support less experienced team members.
  • Engage in business development activities to strengthen the practice’s profile and client base.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE in commercial disputes within a reputable private practice.
  • Proven track record in handling high-value, complex cases.
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to build trusted, long-term client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable with strong attention to detail.
  • A collaborative approach with a willingness to share knowledge and support colleagues’ development.
  • Curiosity and commitment to understanding clients’ businesses and what matters most to them.

Why Join Them?
You’ll be joining a team that values technical excellence, innovation, and client insight. Their culture rewards ambition, supports personal and professional growth, and encourages a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.
